Job Summary
The Risk and Compliance Officer oversees the monitoring of risks and compliance activities to ensure all departmental assessments and reports are accurate and complete. The incumbent provides technical assistance and ensures all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring & Reporting: Prepare error-free compliance and BCM monitoring reports within established timeframes.
Risk Management: Review risk registers and monitor action plans related to high-priority audit discoveries.
Process Improvement: Participate in strategy meetings to improve company systems and recommend operational strategies.
Training & Support: Address employee concerns regarding compliance and support internal training initiatives.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a risk/compliance monitoring role.
Skills: Excellent communication (oral and written), stakeholder management, and project management skills.
Technical: Proficiency in Advanced Excel or data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).
Travel: Ability to travel island-wide as required.
