Revenue and Financial Accountant

Blewstream is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Revenue and Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for managing revenue recognition, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Revenue and Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for managing revenue recognition, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will be ACCA certified and possess strong technical accounting skills, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and strategic financial insight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee revenue recognition processes in accordance with IFRS and company policies.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor and reconcile revenue streams across multiple business units.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate billing and revenue capture.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end close.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Develop and implement financial controls and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) certification is required.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting or revenue accounting.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, financial reporting, and revenue recognition principles.

Experience in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment is preferred.
