Retail Store Lead

Premium Seafood Ltd seeks a motivated Retail Store Lead to oversee daily operations at our gourmet seafood shop. Must have a passion for food, great customer service skills, and the ability to manage inventory while supporting marketing efforts.

Position Title: Retail Store Lead
Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (on alternating weeks)

Position Summary:

Premium Seafood Ltd is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Retail Store Lead to oversee the daily operations of our gourmet seafood shop. This role requires someone with a passion for food, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage inventory and support marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the gourmet retail store
• Maintain proper stock levels and organise product displays
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and reconcile cash at end of day
• Support and participate in promotional and marketing initiatives
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the store
• Monitor product quality and assist with basic food prep or customer education, as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience with food or cooking
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to self-manage, stay motivated, and work independently
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and working knowledge of QuickBooks is an asset
• Retail or hospitality experience preferred
