To manage the Retail Store Operations and have general oversight for different Retail locations, directing the daily operations in order to maximize profit and minimize costs.

1. Sales

a) Develop a sales budget with full accountability.

b) Provide an annual sales plan (stores, key account and independent dealers) with quarterly updates and revisions. Maintain an active sales opportunity and Pipeline tracker relative to projects and New Distributions opportunities.

c) Investigate and evaluate the success of sales methods, costs and results. d) Oversee the preparation and delivery of sales materials exhibits and promotion promotions.

e) Plan and implement all sales strategies and activities to achieve sales targets while remaining within budget, and meeting and surpassing profit goals.

f) Establish both annual and monthly sales objectives in coordination with the Company's business plan.

g) Collaborate with the Retail Services Supervisors and Sales Executives -Key Accounts to establish both market and target customer strategies for the Company.

h) Ensure all Retail Services Supervisors and Sales Executives -Key Accounts prepare and maintain Sales Action Plans using the prescribed format.

i) Ensure all Retail Services Supervisors and Sales Executives -Key Accounts are held accountable for their sales results and for the completion of strategic selling targets and initiatives as assigned.

j) Advise Retail Services Supervisors and Sales Executives -Key Accounts on ways to improve their sales performance achieve goals and obtain expected sales quotas.

k) Perform the tasks assigned in support of the sales and operations planning timetable particularly as it relates to Forecasting.

l) Implement appropriate sales metrics (Key Performance Indicators) that reflect the alignment between external and internal customer requirements.

m) Evaluates whether the Retail team are meeting their sales goals by analyzing expenses and profits and adjust costs to maximize earnings as required.

2. Customer Relations a) Ensure standards for quality and customer service are met. b) Respond to customer complaints and comments in a timely manner. c) Organize special promotions, displays and events. d) Ensure proper prices are applied to each category of goods and customers. e) Visit the Stores, Key Accounts, Independent Dealers and project sites regularly, talk to staff and customers to identify or resolve urgent issues. f) Ensure that Retail Services staff engages in add on sales and up sell other products or services.

3. Marketing, Merchandising and Collateral

a) Initiate online campaigns that includes social media, banner advertisements,

website sponsorships, email newsletters and related offline campaigns.

b) Establish guidelines and measurement tracking for all marketing programs.

c) Manage the Marketing product portfolio for both volume and profit potential.

d) Develop an in-depth knowledge of market and industry trends, competitors, and

leading customer strategies.

e) Identify potential customers and new market opportunities through market analysis.

f) Coordinate timely and positive media coverage for sales.

g) Work with the Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing and the Head of Business Unit Guyana to develop and implement overall marketing strategy.

h) In conjunction with Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing develop and manage marketing operating budgets.

i) Prepare and participate in trade show promotions.

j) Promote the company at various community and business events.

k) Establish communications, promotions, packaging, point of sale and sales support materials.

l) Provide visibility for key branded products.

m) Execute and manage market analysis in accordance with investment decisions.

n) Test, analyse and evaluate marketing programs through market surveys etc.

o) Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction according to marketing surveys and analysis.

p) Establish and oversee that advertising goals are in support of marketing objectives.

q) Ensure that sponsorships and donations derive sufficient mileage and value in terms of investment for the Dominica Business Unit.

r) Approve or recommend sponsorships or donations from business unit as per the assigned delegated authorities.

s) Ensure Stores, Key Accounts and Independent Dealers are presented to the highest industry standards.

t) Recommend “in-store” promotions to Regional Sales and Marketing team and implement same once approved.

u) Suggest to Regional Sales and Marketing Department, local promotions targeting different client categories.

v) Maintain the pleasing visual appearance of the Stores, Key Accounts, and Independent Dealers in order to attract customers and optimize the use of space.

w) Liaise with all internal stakeholders and external partners (agencies, technical partners, vendors etc) to manage the development, procurement, communication and distribution of collateral materials for company brands and products specific to the trade markets, including colour materials, product literature, technical documents, brochures, promotional material, giveaways etc.

x) Examine merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced, displayed or functions as advertised.

4. Cash and Inventory Management

a) Ensure cash is banked daily or as prescribed by the Finance Manager.

b) Implement and oversee security procedures for stock and cash.

c) Keep track of sales figures and inventory requirements while using the information to make estimates on optimal stock levels.

d) Conduct periodic inventory analysis as required to accurately determine how much of a product or brand should be ordered (and when) so the store/s can build sales figures without overstocking.
