SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will:
- Lead and manage the retail counter and customer service teams
- Improve the overall customer experience across walk-in and front-counter operations
- Ensure fast, professional, accurate, and customer-focused service
- Supervise team performance, discipline, scheduling, coaching, and development
- Drive sales conversion, upselling, cross-selling, and add-on opportunities
- Manage customer complaints, escalations, and service recovery effectively
- Improve showroom presentation, merchandising, and front-line service processes
- Support staff in handling customer needs, product recommendations, and technical inquiries
- Build stronger frontline capability in parts identification, structured questioning, and product guidance
- Work closely with other departments to improve service flow, stock visibility, pricing accuracy, and issue resolution
QUALIFICATION/TRAINING
The position requires the following qualifications and experience in the area:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, or related field preferred
- Training or certification in customer service, retail management, leadership, or sales management is an advantage
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
The position requires the following knowledge/skills:
- Five (5) years of experience in retail management, customer service leadership, branch operations, or front-line commercial operations
- Experience in automotive, parts distribution, hardware, industrial, or similar trade-related retail environments is a strong advantage
- Experience using ERP/POS or business systems in a retail or sales environment is preferred
