PURPOSE OF JOB

We’re looking for a dynamic Retail Manager to lead our fuel and non-fuel retail network. In this role, you’ll drive overall site performance, profitability, and customer experience while promoting a data-driven culture. You will align people, processes, and technology to boost revenue, improve service quality and uptime, strengthen compliance and HSSE standards, and ensure a consistent, on-brand experience across all locations. You’ll also help position our stores as the top choice for convenience shopping through strong store presentation, customer-focused teams, and a competitive product and service mix.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead the development and execution of the retail strategy (network, category, CX, pricing, promotions) to achieve budgeted revenue and margin.
  • Drive a data-driven operating rhythm: weekly dashboards, monthly performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives across operations, category, and CX.
  • Ensure operational excellence across sites (uptime, staffing, loss prevention, inventory control, facility standards) while maintaining strict HSSEA compliance.
  • Oversee category and pricing decisions in partnership with the Brand & Category Strategy Lead; approve major promotions based on forecasted ROI and post-campaign analysis.
  • Build and develop high-performing retail teams through recruiting, training, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Manage supplier and stakeholder relationships to ensure availability, value, and innovation.
  • Safeguard data integrity and compliance with company policies, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Improve in-store merchandising, signage, and overall look and feel to firmly position UNIPET as the industry leader.
  • Proactively support sales and marketing promotions/campaigns, conduct merchandise price surveys, and track competitor activities.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in  Business, Management, Marketing, or Accounting.
  • Five years of verifiable multi-unit operations experience in convenience retail or food service (regional/international markets experience is an assets).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel), POS/inventory systems, and comfort with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL basics).
