Retail Branch Manager

The position holder will be responsible for and plays a major role in ensuring the operational aspect and retail store front is managed efficiently. The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily duties of the retail staff, ensuring customer service is priority.

• To securely open and close the store ensuring the hours of operation are in compliance with the company’s regulations.
• Manages the daily activities of the store and delegate the necessary duties.
• Greet and assist with walk-in customers and call-in customers.
• Handle all customer complaints in a professional manner and assist with any returns.
• Register sales on the cash register always ensuring accuracy with all transactions.
• Balance the daily sales at the end of each business day and report sales report.   
• Alert the Director on any discrepancies with goods or issues beyond one’s capabilities.
• Re-stocking of shelves and assisting in all store’s activities in collaboration with the Sales Staff.
• Monitor and check inventory goods ensuring data is correct.
• Complete stock taking of goods ensuring optimum level at the store at all times.
• Reordering of goods after the necessary stock take was completed.
• Ensure the store is always tidy, clean and the presentation of goods are displayed creatively to attract the Customers.  
• Maintain a strong level of verbal communication and listened attentively to the customer’s needs, finding solution.
• Mentor and maintain strong leadership skills to motivate the team to perform at their best.
