The Retail Banker manages client relationships by serving as a primary point of contact, providing guidance, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the loan process.

Core Functions

  • Manage client relationships by serving as a primary point of contact, providing guidance, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the loan process.
  • Evaluate and process loan applications by interviewing clients, assessing eligibility, preparing proposals, and finalizing contracts.
  • Ensure documentation and compliance by validating submissions, tracking outstanding requirements, and adhering to regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor and manage loan delinquency by identifying early arrears, contacting clients, and executing recovery strategies.
  • Promote bank products and services through cross-selling, referrals, and offering tailored financial solutions based on client needs.
  • Support banking operations by assisting internal teams, managing credit documentation, and staying updated on industry practices.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Management Studies, Business Administration, Accounting or related fields.
  • At least three (3) years’ working experience in processing credit or loan facilities in the financial services industry.
  • Proficient in understanding direct/indirect lending products and practices.
