We are seeking a well-rounded professional to join The Reefs team.
Restaurants and Bars Manager
You will be responsible for:
- The management of all aspects of multiple restaurant outlets, bar functions, beach, and restaurant related venues and the execution of F&B events in accordance with resort standards.
- Training and overseeing of all restaurant and bar staff
- Controlling labour costs, operational costs and budgeting
- Marketing efforts for all F&B outlets, including ideas, promotions, and driving sales
- Current culinary trends and innovation, health regulations and employee development
- Weekly and monthly inventory controls
- Coordination of room service, group and catering events
- Manager on Duty role as required
Applicants must have:
- 3 years senior management experience in a full-service luxury style multi restaurant resort environment
- Extensive culinary background, utilizing various food trends and elevated service styles
- Strong floor presence
- Proven track record of P&L budget management
- Strong background in staff training to achieve and maintain desired service levels
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Proficiency in computer skills in all applications in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in a restaurant P.O.S system, preferably Micros
- Proficiency of food and beverage cost controls
- Knowledge of wines and wine service
- Desirable: experience with Open Table booking system
