The Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring that the highest level of service is provided to guests while maintaining the dining room standards and motivating staff to perform at their optimum.

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for coordinating, planning, organizing and controlling the activities of the entire restaurant operation. S/He is required to ensure the highest level of service is provided to guests and to ensure dining room standards are maintained while simultaneously motivating staff to perform at their optimum.

Specific Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Must be highly motivated, self-directed and results driven
  • Must have an excellent track record in Food & Beverage Management
  • Must possess the strong organizational and leadership skills required to guide the department to excellence
  • Must possess strong technical and communication skills with the ability to train within the discipline
  • Be able to prove accountability of operating inventories

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the hospitality industry preferably working in one or more of the following themed restaurants: French, Italian, Asian
  • Computer literate with computer application and software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Certification in any relevant area
  • International experience would be an advantage
