As Resident Manager at Royalton Hotels & Resorts, you will play a pivotal role in the daily oversight of hotel operations, with a strong focus on the Rooms Division. You will act as the General Manager’s right hand and representative in their absence, ensuring that guest service standards are consistently met, revenue opportunities are maximized, and departmental goals are achieved. This role requires strong leadership, operational planning, and a guest-first approach.
Define, analyze, and evaluate operational planning in the Rooms Division based on occupancy levels and forecasts.
Coordinate and control service quality through internal audits and guest feedback (including social media).
Maintain seamless communication among departments to ensure the highest guest service standards.
Supervise the release of rooms from Housekeeping to Front Desk and Diamond Club, ensuring quality benchmarks are met.
Monitor and support revenue goals related to room upselling and sales of incidentals (e.g., Cabanas, Romantic Dinners, Packages).
Represent the General Manager during their absence, including during emergencies or high-level guest concerns.
Assist in preparing and managing the annual operating and CAPEX budgets for the Rooms Division.
Ensure departmental compliance with company-wide quality and service objectives.
Personally handle significant guest service issues, complaints, or VIP needs as required.
Support the implementation of emergency protocols (e.g., hurricane preparedness, safety compliance).
Ensure proper reporting and handling of incidents and accidents, including liaising with insurance agents.
Collaborate closely with marketing teams and the Travel Smart Member Services team to ensure consistency in guest communications and brand standards.
Monitor and respond to operational feedback on social media platforms.
Conduct regular property inspections and act as executive watch officer.
Participate in daily briefings and operational meetings.
Ensure personal and departmental adherence to grooming and uniform standards.
Promote company values, culture, and service promise within all areas of responsibility.
Contribute to workplace safety, employee well-being, and environmental goals in line with the company's ESG initiatives.
Execute any other responsibilities assigned by the General Manager or executive team.
