At Royalton Hotels & Resorts we are looking for a Resident Manager to lead the overall operation of one of our properties in Antigua, ensuring service excellence and compliance with the highest quality standards.
Position Mission:
The Resident Manager will be responsible for directing and supervising all operations of the Rooms Division area, coordinating with other departments to guarantee the best possible experience for our guests. Additionally, they will act as the General Manager’s representative in their absence and as a key liaison between hotel management and the different operational departments.
Main Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and evaluate Rooms Division operations, considering occupancy levels, projections, and required resources.
Ensure compliance with corporate service and quality standards through internal and external surveys, social media, and audits.
Supervise the release of rooms for service, as well as revenue generated from room upselling and the sale of additional products/services such as cabanas, romantic dinners, and special packages.
Participate in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget and the CAPEX investment plan.
Implement emergency protocols and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
Manage relationships with suppliers, travel agencies, authorities, and the local community.
Monitor and respond to social media comments related to hotel operations.
Lead and motivate the team, fostering a professional, safe, and high-performance work environment.
Required Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in all-inclusive resorts or luxury properties.
Previous experience in Front Desk, Guest Services, or Rooms Division.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and make strategic decisions.
Advanced command of English (spoken and written).
Knowledge of hotel management systems and technology tools applied to the industry.
