Position Summary
The Reservations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the reservations function to ensure efficient operations, accurate bookings, and exceptional guest service. This role requires a hospitality-focused professional with strong organizational, guest-service, and sales skills, as well as experience in reservations systems and guest communication.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and manage daily reservations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all bookings
· Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms in a professional and timely manner
· Maximize room revenue through effective selling techniques, upselling, and promoting resort services
· Monitor availability, rates, and restrictions to optimize occupancy and revenue
· Ensure all reservation details, special requests, and guest preferences are accurately recorded
· Train, guide, and support reservations staff to maintain high service standards
· Resolve guest concerns related to reservations promptly and professionally
· Maintain clear communication with Front Office, Sales, and other departments
· Prepare and submit reservation reports as required by management
Qualifications & Experience
· Proven experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a reservations or supervisory role
· Strong organizational and guest-service skills
· Experience with reservations systems and guest communication platforms preferred
· Demonstrated strong sales skills, with the ability to upsell and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
