Reservations Sales Specialist- Car Rental (Soft Sales) || USD 500 Sign on Bonus

We are looking for persons to join our itel Family at our Kingston location as Hilton Reservations Specialists!

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

The Reservations Sales Specialist will be responsible for selling to prospective international customers by answering incoming
calls, utilizing excellent communication, persuasive sales ability and world class customer service, to consult with them in reaching customized solutions to their travel needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately clarify, research and communicate information to provide options that fulfil customer needs in response to inquiries, requests and requirements. As appropriate, cross sell ancillary products & services to obtain and grow revenue.
• Accurately input required data into various company systems for tracking and retention of customer records.
• Provide highly accurate and prompt assistance, completion and processing of forms and/or reports related to reservation special handling requirements or requests.
• Ensure that all interactions are in accordance with company policies and standards of customer service and professionalism.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of adjustments for customers. Prepare communications to customers using professional standards of vocabulary and grammar.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school/GED
• Minimum 5 CSEC passes including grade 1 or 2 in English A.
• Minimum 1+ years' work experience in a customer oriented and/or sales role
• 6 months experience in the hospitality industry or in a role requiring you to work well with people, negotiate, overcome objections, and/or upsell/cross sell

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

• Excellent communication and active listening skills, including the ability to speak, read and write fluently in English
• Computer proficiency, including ability to easily navigate and toggle between multiple screens, talk and type at the same time, and troubleshoot basic computer issues
• Minimum typing speed of 20 to 30 wpm
