Role Summary

This role requires a courteous, efficient, and reliable individual who exercises initiative and works well independently or as part of a team. Flexibility and dependability are required.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

• On Call on a 24-hour basis
• Assist clients with bookings and emergencies
• Document and deal with damages to vehicles, missing hub caps, burst and flat tires, lost keys and flat batteries.
• Contact Auto Rescue to report accidents to business’ Insurance company.
• Supervise the assignment of deliveries and collections for all the Rental Agents on a day-to-day basis and allocate days off.
• Handle customer inquiries
• Answer calls, emails, and online chats to provide information about rental options, pricing, and availability.
• Book vehicles and keep track of reservations and payments.
• Reserve vehicles on a Gantt Chart and in a diary to correspond with each other.
• Log delivery and collection information from the delivery forms in the appropriate diary.
• Write up all delivery forms on a day-to-day basis.
• Prepare paperwork for the inspecting and Licensing of vehicles on a month-to-month basis for the Barbados Licensing Authority:

Requirements

• Must have completed secondary education with at least four CXC General passes including English.
• Experience working in a car rental business/office or similar environment would be an asset.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer literate with strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Having a driver’s License will be an asset.
