Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Remote MEP Engineer / MEP Coordinator to support Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) coordination and documentation for ongoing construction projects. This is a fully remote role supporting international clients, requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with distributed project teams.

Key Responsibilities

MEP Coordination & Drawings

• Review and coordinate MEP drawings (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing)

• Ensure MEP systems align with architectural and structural plans

• Identify clashes and inconsistencies and propose practical solutions

• Assist with revisions, redlines, and as-built drawings

Technical Support & Documentation

• Prepare and update MEP layouts, schematics, and technical drawings

• Support load calculations, equipment sizing, and system layouts

• Review specifications, BOQs, and scope documents

• Maintain organized digital project files and documentation

Remote Collaboration & Project Support

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers remotely

• Attend virtual meetings and provide technical input when required

• Track assigned tasks and meet project deadlines

• Communicate clearly via email, chat, and video calls

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering (or related field)

• Proven experience working with MEP systems in construction projects

• Strong ability to read and interpret construction and MEP drawings

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit MEP is a strong plus)

• Comfortable working remotely and independently

• Reliable internet connection and personal workstation

• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience supporting US, UK, or international construction projects

• Revit MEP / BIM coordination experience

• Experience working with cloud-based project tools (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)

• Prior remote work experience
