The Remittance Clerk supports the Remittance Department to manage and maintain a robust and well trained Agent Network of value added services and client relationships.
Job Duties:
Recruit /Develop and Manage a robust network of Value Added Services for LASCO Financial Services Locally
Set-up and train approved sub-agents and their representatives on the proper use of the relevant online portals and/or POS machines for value added services
Assist with maintenance of sub-agents’ files.
Ensure that agent network is fully equipped with stationery/forms/rolls for daily operations while maintaining an inventory record of stationery for the agent network.
Assist with the processing of MoneyGram Online transfer for LFSL Sub-Agents island wide
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports to the remittance Manager.
Prepare and distribute commission statements monthly
Assist with communication to the network via various channels.
Assist/Ensure that all sub-agent locations maintain a high level of customer service standards and LFSL standards and that they are fully displayed.
Respond to customer inquiries within a timely manner daily while maintaining effective relationship with others with whom interaction is required in the performance of the position.
Any other job related duties assigned.
Requirements:
Must be efficient, highly organized and able to manage/ work in a fast pace environment
Must be able to multitask and prioritize duties in a manner consistent with the organizational goals and objectives.
Must be proficient with the AML/CFT requirement and other regulatory procedures and industry competitiveness.
Must be flexible
Must be highly confidential and must be able to exercise strong organizational skills.
Must be able to adapt quickly to market conditions
Basic Troubleshooting Skills
Qualifications:
Minimum five (5) C.X.C. subjects - Degree in Business Administration would be an asset
At Least a level 1 certificate in data operations and/or computer servicing and support.
