In this role, you will ensure that the Entity consistently meets all regulatory, statutory, and governance obligations and deadlines including those applicable to a Trust and Corporate Service Providers and Attorneys

Objectives of the Job:

  1. To ensure that the Entity consistently meets all regulatory, statutory, and governance obligations and deadlines including those applicable to a Trust and Corporate Service Providers and attorneys that have obligations under POCA, including the timely preparation and submission of all required filings and notifications.
  2. Assist with the provision of corporate services (including minute taking and preparation of documents to be submitted to the COJ) from time to time.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor compliance with the TCSP Act, FSC rules and directives, POCA, TPA and UNSCRIA.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate submission of all FSC filings, returns, and notifications.
  3. Maintain effective AML/CFT systems and controls.
  4. Ensure compliance with beneficial ownership and client due diligence requirements.
  5. Review current files and ensure up to date client information and conduct ongoing monitoring of client relationships.
  6. On board new clients and complete ensure all necessary information and documentation is received and records properly kept.
  7. Complete fit and proper assessments.
  8. Ensure proper record retention and accessibility.
  9. Maintain inspection-ready compliance documentation.
  10. Attend client meetings and prepare Minutes.
  11. Support Corporate Services work from time to time including but not limited to preparation of minutes and preparing documents to be submitted to the Companies Office.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Board minute taking;
  • Familiarity with Companies Office Forms; and
  • Paralegal certification (preferred but not essential)

 

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Competent in Microsoft Office – in particular Excel and Word;
  • Detail oriented;
  • High ethical standards; and
  • Strong organisational skills
