Position: Officer, Regulatory Compliance (Private Equity Team) (PE-COE)

KPMG JESS is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Support Officer to join our dynamic Risk Management team. This is your opportunity to work closely with KPMG U.S. and contribute to high-stakes projects that shape the future of private equity operations.
What You’ll Do
As a key member of the team, you will:
- Research and analyze new acquisitions and affiliated entities for Private Equity Center of Excellence (PE-CoE) accounts.
- Apply SEC independence rules to assess service permissibility and maintain compliance.
- Serve as the primary liaison between JESS and the Client’s PE-CoE team, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Monitor M&A activity and manage communications related to clearance activities.
- Participate in internal PE-CoE meetings and assist with special projects as needed.
What You Bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in compliance, risk management, or a related area.
- Familiarity with Independence compliance rules is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Special Conditions:
- JESS uses a hybrid work model, allowing staff to work from home in Jamaica or in the office. Employees must be in the office at least five days per month, with more days possible if required by business needs.
- You are expected to use KPMG-approved Generative AI tools to support your daily work tasks.
- Expected to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to be using information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities.
- May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays.
