Job description

  • Job title: Registered Nurse II
  • Full Time: 36 hours + per week
  • Shift: Days/Nights - 12 hr shifts
  • Location: Texas, San Antonio (USA)
  • Salary Range: Depends on experience (Med Surg: US$28.99 - US$40.89ph; ED US$31.30 - US$43.50. This does not include shift differentials, weekends, and overtime).

In this role, you will:

  • Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgement, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
  • You will collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
  • You will provide communication confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
  • You will demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serving as a resource to the patience care team.
  • You will have accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and for promoting a positive image of nursing.

What Qualifications you will need:

  • Graduate of an accredited 4-year university nursing degree program (BSN)
  • 2 years clinical experience as a licensed/ registered nurse (minimum 6 months experience in IP acute care, bedside experience required)
  • English proficient and able to pass requirements for licensure (NCLEX) and immigration
  • Willingness to commit to 3-year employment with Methodist Hospital.

Additional Requirements:

  • Be registered with NCLEX before starting in post
  • Proficient in English and pass IELTS assessment
