Position Summary: The Regional Sales & Social Media Marketing Manager is a strategic and results-oriented professional responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies within a defined geographical region, while simultaneously spearheading the company's social media marketing efforts. This role is crucial in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, enhancing brand visibility, and fostering strong customer engagement through both traditional sales channels and innovative digital campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

I. Regional Sales & Business Development:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies and action plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for Hibiscus Spirits products (rums, gins) within St. Kitts and Nevis, focusing on both wholesale (hotels, restaurants, bars, retail outlets) and direct-to-consumer channels (on-site at Spice Mill, online).
    • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with hospitality partners, tourism operators, and specialty retailers across the islands.
    • Conduct market analysis to identify regional trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences for craft spirits in the Caribbean.
    • Set sales forecasts, manage sales pipelines, and accurately report on regional sales performance.
  • Account Management & Relationship Building:
    • Establish, nurture, and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective B2B clients (e.g., hotel F&B managers, bar owners, purchasing managers).
    • Secure product placements, negotiate supply agreements, and ensure consistent product availability.
    • Represent Hibiscus Spirits at local and regional industry events, tastings, and networking functions (e.g., tourism expos, culinary festivals).
    • Develop and deliver compelling presentations on Hibiscus Spirits' unique selling propositions, product quality, and brand story.
  • Sales Support & Logistics:
    • Coordinate with the distillery and production team to ensure adequate stock levels to meet demand.
    • Oversee order processing, invoicing, and timely delivery of products to clients.
    • Monitor and manage the regional sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
    • Stay informed about local liquor import regulations and distribution channels in potential new regional markets.

II. Social Media Marketing & Brand Storytelling:

  • Social Media Strategy & Content Development:
    • Develop, implement, and manage a compelling social media marketing strategy to elevate the Hibiscus Spirits brand, drive engagement, and generate leads for spirit sales and tour/event bookings.
    • Identify target audiences (tourists, local residents, craft spirit enthusiasts, hospitality professionals) and key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, TripAdvisor, YouTube).
    • Create and curate high-quality, visually stunning content (photos, videos, reels, stories) showcasing our unique spirits, the Roselle Hibiscus farm, the distillery process, cocktails, and the vibrant atmosphere of Cockleshell Beach and Spice Mill.
    • Develop and maintain a robust social media content calendar aligned with product launches, seasonal themes, and local events.
    • Craft engaging captions and storytelling narratives that highlight our local sourcing, craftsmanship, and the "farm-to-bottle" philosophy.
  • Community Engagement & Online Presence:
    • Actively monitor, listen, and respond to comments, messages, and reviews across all social media channels promptly and professionally.
    • Foster an active and passionate online community, encouraging user-generated content, reviews, and brand advocacy.
    • Manage online reputation and address feedback with professionalism and integrity.
  • Digital Campaigns & Advertising:
    • Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns to target specific demographics (e.g., tourists planning trips to St. Kitts, local residents, cocktail enthusiasts).
    • Manage social media advertising budgets and track campaign performance (reach, engagement, website traffic, conversion rates for bookings/sales).
    • Utilize A/B testing and other optimization techniques to maximize ROI on digital ad spend.
  • Analytics & Reporting:
    • Monitor, track, and analyze social media performance using platform analytics and Google Analytics.
    • Generate regular reports on key social media KPIs, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Influencer & Partnership Marketing:
    • Identify and engage with relevant travel bloggers, lifestyle influencers, local media, and hospitality partners to amplify brand reach and credibility.
    • Develop and manage collaborative campaigns and cross-promotional activities.
    • Explore opportunities for social media contests, giveaways, and interactive experiences.

III. Brand Advocacy & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Brand Ambassador: Act as a passionate and knowledgeable ambassador for Hibiscus Spirits, embodying its values and commitment to quality, local sourcing, and unique experiences.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Director, Distillery Team, Spice Mill Restaurant Operations, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure integrated sales and marketing efforts, consistent brand messaging, and a seamless customer journey from online discovery to product purchase or tour experience.
  • Market Insight: Provide valuable market insights and feedback from sales interactions and social media trends to inform product development and strategic decisions.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of sales principles, business development, and CRM systems.
  • Expertise in major social media platforms (especially Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube) and their respective advertising platforms and analytics.
  • Proven ability to create high-quality visual and written content that resonates with target audiences.

  • A genuine passion for craft spirits, local agriculture, and the unique culture of St. Kitts and Nevis.

  • Ability to stand, walk, and present for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of marketing materials or product samples (up to 25 lbs).
