Sagicor Investments Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Investment Client Services (West) team in the capacity of:
Regional Manager – Investment Client Services (West)
Provide leadership to the team of Wealth Advisors in the Western region to ensure sales targets are met and duties are performed in accordance with standards set.
Support the company’s overall strategic marketing plan by focusing on targeted markets and desired industry groups.
Assist with the development of new products and services that support the strategic direction of the company.
**This role requires occasional travel to branches in the region and frequent work outside of normal business hours and occasionally on weekends. **
Location: Montego Bay
As a Regional Manager, you will:
- Develop strategies and monitor efforts of the team to target new clients including presentations, cold calling, networking, visits or any other means.
- Monitor team to ensure Client Service in the unit is at the highest standards in adherence with guidelines set.
- Produce monthly reports that monitor sales performance of the team members (scorecards).
- Advise potential investors of the company’s products and services, negotiate portfolio strategies and investment terms.
- Manage resolution of client issues.
- Assist in conceptualizing and coordinating various client events and promotions in the region.
- Coach and mentor team members.
- Conduct surveys of competitors and determine appropriate competitive strategies.
- Assist in new products and services development.
- Identify and analyse the company’s strengths and weaknesses and respond to opportunities and threats in the environment.
- Perform any other related duties that may be assigned.
What do you need?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Banking & Finance or relevant discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
- At least four (4) years’ working experience in a similar capacity, with supervisory responsibilities.
- Completion of the Jamaican Securities Certificate.
- Certification/ additional training in sales and supervisory management.
- Sound understanding of financial sector instruments and the regulatory environment.
- Strong selling & negotiating skills.
- Strong client service skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- Excellent public speaking and communication skills.
- Strong supervisory and inter-personal skills.
- Ability to produce reports.
- Sound knowledge of computer software packages including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
