OVERVIEW:
KPMG Jamaica has a delivery center named “Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS)” operating from Kingston, which is contracted to provide back-office support to its member firm KPMG United States (“the Client”). The JESS recruitment function is expanding its existing operations within the JESS delivery center to include candidate screening support to meet Client demand objectives.
JOB SUMMARY:
The JESS Recruitment Support Junior Officer is responsible for supporting the candidate interview scheduling process and performing outreach/communications to candidates in accordance with the policies and procedures of the JESS Recruitment team.
The JESS -Scheduling Support Junior Officer reports primarily to the JESS Recruitment Assistant Manager but will also take direction from other JESS Recruitment team members who are accountable for supported work.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Service Delivery
- Support JESS recruiters with scheduling interviews
- Correspond with candidates and clients, including sending meeting requests and emails via Outlook, using KPMG’s applicant tracking system (ATS), and making telephone calls
- Assist with updating candidate information in the ATS
- Ensure a positive candidate experience
- Train new team members and be available for questions; update training materials as required
- Participate in an open exchange of information across the team
- Assist in the execution of continuous improvement goals
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of college recruiting initiatives
- Support and assist with recruitment projects and initiatives
- Perform other operations tasks as needed
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Currently pursuing or has Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Equivalent Professional Accreditation
- At least six months of experience in recruitment sourcing or human resources, preferably in a high-volume corporate environment

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
- You will work in a hybrid environment, allowing flexibility between working from home in Jamaica and being in the office. You will be required to spend a minimum of five days each month in the office, though this number may increase depending on business needs.
- You will work in a fast-paced team environment.
- The role is paperless, so you will use computer systems all day to access information and complete tasks.
- You may need to work extra hours, including some weekends and public holidays, when required.
