HGS is looking for a talented high volume recruiter to add to the team. We are seeking a go-getter who can go above and beyond, is people-centric and able to work under pressure.

REPORTS TO:

This position reports to the Recruiting Lead.

 

Objectives of this role:

  • Support the recruiting team, with pre-screening candidates, administrative duties and onboarding activities
  • Facilitate a smooth hiring process for both the hiring team and job applicants
  • Maintain the hiring department’s high degree of organization and efficiency by exhibiting meticulous attention to detail
  • Send communications materials, emails to candidates, and offer and rejection letters
  • Collaborate with the hiring team to carry out streamlined onboarding processes

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for Sourcing and Pre-Screening candidates
  • Perform clerical duties like emailing, handling paperwork, and processing background checks
  • Maintain an accurate, organized, and detailed candidate database
  • Update reporting as needed this includes all trackers and ATS systems.
  • Provide paper to candidates this includes bank letters when required, and all Contracts
  • Collect all documents required for candidates and add them to the employee files
  • Responsible for the candidate experience upon hire to day one
  • Assist with first interviews as needed
  • Partner with other departments as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong knowledge of current HR practices, procedures and theory related to recruitment and selection
  • Minimum 2 years full cycle recruiting experience in a high volume, fast paced environment is preferred
  • Excellent consultative, strategic thinking, problem solving, influential and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills, social skills and a high sense of emotional intelligence
  • Somebody who is passionate about the candidate experience and understands the value of service
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to balance multiple priorities & manage time effectively 
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of Applicant Tracking Systems, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Schedule Flexibility and the ability to work outside of normal business hours

 

WOULD PREFER:

  • High School diploma/Associate’s Degree preferred or related recruitment training
  • Prior Administrative experience
  • Prior experience in a multi-national or global organization, ideally the call center industry
  • Experience working remotely from your team and manager
