Reconciliation Officer
IMCA Jamaica Ltd, a leading provider in the industrial and automotive sectors, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Reconciliation Officer to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting accurate financial reporting and timely reconciliation of accounts.
Prepare, update, and maintain the Fixed Asset Register and Rental Fleet records monthly, with submission by the 3rd working day.
Review and update monthly depreciation calculations for all fixed and rental assets.
Maintain and reconcile the Loan Management Module with the General Ledger.
Accrue monthly loan interest and ensure reversals upon disbursement.
Reconcile prior year bank accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Post all banking transactions in SAP and prepare monthly credit card reconciliations by the 10th working day.
Analyze and reconcile Equipment Provision and Warranty Reserves.
Prepare assigned monthly audit schedules by the 10th working day.
Organize and file accounting and supporting documents weekly/monthly.
Participate in mid-year and annual stock counts.
Perform additional accounting or administrative duties as required by management.
Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
At least 2 years of accounting or reconciliation experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
