RESTAURANT MANAGER

The restaurant manager is responsible for coordinating and controlling the activities of the entire restaurant operation. He/she is required to ensure the highest level of service is provided to guests and that dining room standards are maintained.

Specific Requirements Duties of the Position Include:

• Extensive knowledge of food & beverage operations
• Participation in the development of the annual budget for the department
• The ability to manage stress and long working hours
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Being highly motivated, self-directed, and results-driven
• Administering the continuous training and development programme within the department
• The ability to lead & motivate others

Qualifications and Experience:

• First Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent
• At least five years of management experience in fine dining restaurants
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
