RESIDENT MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY 

The Resident Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the boutique hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth management of all hotel departments. This role involves leading and training staff, managing front desk operations and acting as the primary onsite representative to resolve any issues promptly, maintaining high standards of service and hotel functionality. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage, train and lead hotel staff to deliver excellent customer service
  • Oversee front desk operations including check-in/check out procedures and responding to guest inquiries.
  • Handle guests complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally 
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage and other departments to meet hotel goals.
  • Inspect hotel rooms, facilities and staff performance to maintain quality standards 
  • Implement and supervise policies and procedures aligned with the company's standard operating procedures
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism
  • Report regularly to hotel management 
REQUIREMENTS 
  • Proven experience 
  • Strong Leaderhsip and communication skills 
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to details 
  • Customer centric approach with a commitment to service excellence. 
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environement 
  • Ability to work shifts including weekends and public holidays
  • Flexible to work overtime hours
