RELIEF HUMAN RESOURCE ASSISTANT

The Human Resource Assistant provides administrative support in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource Department in the following areas:

Recruitment

 Compensation & Benefits

1. Administers the Easi Connect/Group Health Plan, advising of enrolment procedure, documentation and claim applications and decision.
2. Liaises with the insurance provider on routine health plan matters and queries. 
3. Collates salary deductions and other adjustments for review by the HRM
4. Verifies part time staff salary claim forms for processing
5. Assists with completion of documentation for N.I. Registration and Claims for signature by Bursar

Records Management & Reporting

 Essential Qualifications and Attributes

• Administrative Professional Secretaries Diploma or Association of Business Executives Certification Level 5 (equivalent to an Associate Degree).
• Certification in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations would be an asset.
• At least three (3) years’ experience in an HR environment.
• Knowledge of MicroPay – Time & Attendance
• Proficient in the use of MS Access Database – Leave Management
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of confidentiality
• Ability to develop and maintain productive work relationships with all stakeholders
