The Quality Systems Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of a quality focused culture throughout Blue Waters' operations.

Job Summary

The Quality Systems Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of a quality focused culture throughout Blue Waters' operations by ensuring the procedures and systems comply with all applicable international, local, and co-packing standards. The incumbent must be passionate about food safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining HACCP, Food Safety and Food Defense systems.

  • Lead annual Mock Recall exercises and drive root cause investigations for customer complaints.

  • Participate in external audits (AIB, QAS, NSF, ISO, etc.) and conduct supplier audits.

  • Maintain and manage the Document Control System in line with company policies.

  • Train operations teams in SOPs, food safety, HACCP, and risk management.

  • Analyze quality and food safety data to identify trends and recommend improvements.

Essential Requirements

  • BSc in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Food Science) or an Engineering discipline.

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Quality, preferably in food or beverage manufacturing.

  • Experience with HACCP, Food Safety, Food Defense/Security systems.

  • Auditing certification (ISO 22000, Lead Auditor, or Internal Auditor).

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Data analysis and reporting proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Knowledge of laboratory practices, industrial hygiene, and hazardous substances management.
