Job Summary
The Quality Systems Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of a quality focused culture throughout Blue Waters' operations by ensuring the procedures and systems comply with all applicable international, local, and co-packing standards. The incumbent must be passionate about food safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Support the Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining HACCP, Food Safety and Food Defense systems.
Lead annual Mock Recall exercises and drive root cause investigations for customer complaints.
Participate in external audits (AIB, QAS, NSF, ISO, etc.) and conduct supplier audits.
Maintain and manage the Document Control System in line with company policies.
Train operations teams in SOPs, food safety, HACCP, and risk management.
Analyze quality and food safety data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Essential Requirements
BSc in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Food Science) or an Engineering discipline.
A minimum of 3 years experience in Quality, preferably in food or beverage manufacturing.
Experience with HACCP, Food Safety, Food Defense/Security systems.
Auditing certification (ISO 22000, Lead Auditor, or Internal Auditor).
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Data analysis and reporting proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Knowledge of laboratory practices, industrial hygiene, and hazardous substances management.
