We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure that products and processes meet company quality standards, comply with regulatory requirements, and promote continuous improvement. Only Guyanese nationals are eligible to apply.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure that products and processes meet company quality standards, comply with regulatory requirements, and promote continuous improvement.
Job Description:
Monitor and inspect production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products.
Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including reports, logs, and records.
Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure adherence to SOPs.
Support audits (internal and external) and regulatory inspections.
Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Assist in training staff on quality standards, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Education and Qualification Requirements:
Must be a Guyanese national.
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quality Management, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
Strong knowledge of quality standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical, observation, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently and within a team.
Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software is an advantage.
