Quality Inspector

Conduct analytical, dimensional and sensory evaluations on raw and packaging materials, work in process, finished products and trend the results.  

Verify the packaging seals/ integrity, date codes, appropriate graphics and correct poly/bag/ label for finished packaged. 

Monitor and ensure process parameters such as weights, pH, specific gravity, temperatures, humidity, etc. conforms to the specifications for each product to assure consistent product is produced. 

Conduct metal detector monitoring and investigate the rejections at the metal detectors.  

Verify the effectiveness of cleaning during changeovers. 

Ensure non-conforming products are adequately segregated, labeled and evaluated. Support with investigations for non-conformances.   

Inform chargehands, supervisors and managers of the corrections required and provide suggestions for any deviation and discrepancies. 

Conduct calibration audits on measuring and monitoring equipment, document and report the findings. 

Identify and report real and potential issues and non-conformances and suggest possible solutions. 

Understand and adhere to the organization’s good manufacturing practices (GMPs), Food Safety and Quality requirements. 

Actively promote, support and comply with Kiss Baking Company Limited’s established Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and industry best practices. 

Perform any other job-related duties as directed by Supervisor/Manager.
