Quality Control Officer

Quality Control Officer with two years post qualification experience in the field.

THIS POSITION IS OPEN ONLY TO QUALIFIED NATIONALS OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO AND THOSE HOLDING VALID AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO, AND PRESENTLY LIVING IN THE COUNTRY.

POSITION: QUALITY CONTROL OFFICER:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma and at least two years post secondary training in Quality Control or similar.

Skilled in basic Math including Geometry and Trigonometry.  Good in arithmetic calculations. 

At least two years experience in QUALITY CONTROL.

Computer skills and familiarity with utilities and tools required to perform the quality control process. 

Experience in the Printing and Packaging Industry an asset.

MUST HAVE knowledge and experience testing on inspection and measurement!!

Proven high standard of work.

Good verbal and written communication skills. 

SOME RELEVANT DUTIES:

Monitor, test and inspect all processes involved in production of packaging materials.  Ensure quality standards are met in all compenents.

Knowledgeable in  different methods for quality insurance in the industry.  Visual inspection of packaging materials and boxes.  Must be expert in the use of required tools.  Must also be experienced in producing professional documentation for the purpose of quality assurance.

Inspection of pre-press, sheeting, printing, die cutting, gluing and checking for packaging defects.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision. 

Testing on inspection and measurement

Must be knowledgeable on different board substrates, inks and coloirs.

Ensure the quality of raw materials purchased as well as finished goods.

COMPENSATION ACCORDING TO RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE IN THE RANGE OF $6,500 - $7,000.
