Quality Control Officer
A leading manufacturing company in St. Ann is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Control Officer to join its team. This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for food safety and quality assurance in a fast-paced production environment.
Monitor and maintain quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process
Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials and finished products
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements (HACCP, SQF, GMP, etc.)
Accurately document quality findings and maintain detailed records
Collaborate with production teams to uphold quality and safety standards
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field
Prior experience in a food manufacturing or quality assurance role (preferred)
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems
Food safety awareness
Dependability and ability to work independently
Strong time management and teamwork skills
Initiative and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
Must be able to work in an environment with strong, pungent aromas from spices, seasoning, and peppers
