The Quality Assurance Analyst plays a vital role in the Emergency and Dispatch Operations Department by utilizing data-driven insights to improve crew productivity, enhance outage response efficiency, and optimize overall operational effectiveness.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Assurance Analyst plays a vital role in the Emergency and Dispatch Operations Department by utilizing data-driven insights to improve crew productivity, enhance outage response efficiency, and optimize overall operational effectiveness. This position entails analyzing data to assess crew and outage response productivity, efficiency, and relevant metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). The analyst is responsible for conducting in-depth data analysis from the Outage Management and Workforce Management systems, performing regular field assessments, preparing reports, and presenting actionable insights to guide departmental and organizational leadership. In addition, the Analyst ensures compliance with quality standards set by the department and the company, while actively supporting efforts to optimize outage management processes. 

EDUCATION/SPECIALIZED TECHNIQUES                       

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Operations Management, Business Administration, or other relevant field.
  2. Advanced training in Outage Management System (OMS), Mobile Workforce Management System (MWMS), data analysis and/or business intelligence tools.
  3. Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Experience in electric utility industry is preferred. 

EXPERIENCE/LEARNED DISCIPLINE 

  1. At least three (3) years’ experience in data analysis, quality assurance in a utility, or related field.
  2.  Extensive understanding of data inputs, outputs, and dependencies in a business unit / functional level.
  3. Knowledge of utility operations, emergency response, and outage management.
  4. Familiarity with JPSCo’s operational processes and procedures.
  5. Proficient in using enterprise systems and data analysis tools.
  6. Experience in field assessments and performance tracking.

 MAJOR TASKS/DUTIES 

  1. Conducts data analysis to measure crew productivity, outage response efficiency, and other operational metrics.
  2. Generates regular reports and presents findings to departmental and company leadership.
  3. Conducts field assessments and provides feedback on operations.
  4. Tracks performance against KPIs and provides recommendations for improvement.
  5. Assists in the development and implementation of quality assurance standards and procedures.
  6. Collaborates with department personnel to enhance operations and outage management.
