Purchasing Officer

A leading Quick Service Restaurant Group is seeking a Purchasing Officer to join their Finance & Administration Division.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the purchasing department by ensuring timely procurement of goods for the Distribution Centre, enabling the efficient and profitable operation of all restaurant brands within the group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and monitor purchase orders for goods required at the Distribution Centre.
  • Review stock balances and support initiatives to manage near-dated inventory.
  • Monitor and update minimum and maximum inventory levels in the ACCPAC database.
  • Investigate, close, and open purchase orders where necessary to maintain accurate records.
  • Support supplier selection, due diligence checks, and performance management.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the purchasing function.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least one (1) year’s experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ACCPAC accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and within a cross-functional team.
