Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational needs, reduce costs, and improve efficiency

• Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with organizational standards
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favourable terms, prices, and delivery schedules
• Analyze demand and forecast requirements to optimize procurement processes and minimize waste
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, laws, and regulations related to procurement
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, and logistics, to ensure alignment and satisfaction of procurement needs
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement initiatives to reduce procurement costs
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement, including supply chain disruptions and supplier insolvency

Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing management
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Familiarity with procurement software and systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
• Knowledge of market trends and supplier markets
• Strong leadership and team management skills
