Property Maintenance Staff

We are looking for a skilled Property Maintenance Staff to join our team and ensure the upkeep and functionality of our properties.

As a Property Maintenance Staff, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks including landscaping and general building maintenance. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleans and assists with upkeep of the properties.
• Plants and or transplants new flowers, trees, grass, hedges, and bushes.
• Maintains gardens and lawns, including mowing, watering, fertilizing, trimming, pruning, raking, and weeding.
• Follows written and verbal instructions from the manager or clients.
• Inspects the building, grounds, and equipment.
• Performs basic repairs and maintenance that do not require specialized technicians including cleaning, minor carpentry, painting, repairing fixtures, conducting basic plumbing repairs.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion.
• Drives work vehicles to and from sites.
• Perform other tasks as requested.
• Keeps and maintains a daily maintenance service log.
• Keeps an inventory of cleaning and repair supplies.
• Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
• Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs and escalate if necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
• Must be able to drive manual transmission vehicles
• Dependable, motivated, and a strong communicator
• Possess knowledge on safe/efficient use of equipment including but not limited to gardening equipment, pressure washer, power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.
• Familiarity with plant identification and basic horticultural care.
• Possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking for prolonged hours, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds at any given time.
• Must possess the physical strength and dexterity to lift, move and handle equipment.

Monthly salary TT$5,000.00 plus $500 allowance.
