About the Role:

The Project Officer plays a key role in managing IT infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on cloud-based solutions. This role is responsible for overseeing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with defined scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets.

Key Functions

• Manage IT infrastructure projects, focusing on cloud-based services, from initiation to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation, and acceptance criteria.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks related to the premises and cloud infrastructure, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Manage project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk management plans.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement.

 Our Ideal Candidate:

 We are looking for someone who:

• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in Azure cloud environments.
• Is effective in stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Is able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Has excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Is familiar with Agile development and tools like Jira or Confluence.

Qualifications & Experience: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on cloud infrastructure projects, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Proven track record of delivering complex cloud infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure components, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.
