The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and delivery of solar and renewable energy projects.

We are looking for a Project Manager for Tropical Renewable Energy Limited (TRE). TRE is a renewable energy provider and equipment distributor that helps residential, commercial, and industrial customers transition to clean energy, mainly through solar power systems and storage solutions. It’s part of the larger Tropical Battery Company group and plays a growing role in advancing renewable energy adoption and energy independence throughout the Caribbean.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan, structure, and manage project work plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation in line with company strategy and client commitments.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, warehouse, logistics, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress and KPIs including timelines, costs, quality standards, and client satisfaction, and implement corrective actions as required.
• Manage all project-related technical and administrative documentation, including drawings, contracts, permits, approvals, and reports.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site visits to oversee field activities, assess risks, and ensure adherence to approved designs, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating where necessary.
• Lead project close-out activities, including final inspections, documentation handover, lessons learned, and post-project evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and company policies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in project management, preferably in renewable energy, construction, or technical environments.
• Strong understanding of the solar project lifecycle and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in project management tools and reporting systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
