Appliance Traders Limited is looking to hire a Project Manager who will be responsible for planning and overseeing ATL’s Engineering projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.

Project Manager

The Project Manager has the responsibility to plan and designate project resources, liaise with internal teams, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly understand and communicate stakeholder requirements to appropriate team members and incorporate those inputs into the planning and execution of projects.
  • Prepare project plans and communicate them with all stakeholders.
  • Project plans should be prepared with sufficient details: schedules to include all project phases and dependencies, including preliminary site visits, engineering design, material procurement, installation, commissioning, and testing.
  • Track progress and review project tasks to ensure deadlines are met appropriately, coordinating with teams on site to keep abreast of status.
  • Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer goals.
  • Follow the required policies, procedures, and methodologies to ensure that the jobs are executed at the required standard.
  • Identify matters that may affect the operations of ATL and communicate same to management.

Qualification, Characteristics, and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Effective in planning, monitoring, and reviewing.
  • Able to motivate and encourage others and be decisive, and able to work well under pressure.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficient and skilled in project management, digital tools, and applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Facility regulations, safety codes, and standards.
  • General management or supervisory skills.
  • Knowledge of the latest forms of contracting, planning, and building regulations, as well as advances in construction techniques, plant, and equipment.
