Project Manager (Facilities Management Department)
The Project Manager coordinates the planning, development, appraisal, and implementation of all capital infrastructure projects at the University of Technology, Jamaica. This includes routine capital upgrades, new building developments, major refurbishments, government-funded projects requiring Public Investment Appraisal Branch (PIAB) approval, and initiatives executed under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) frameworks. The Projects Manager ensures projects are delivered in alignment with institutional priorities, technical standards, regulatory requirements, and national investment protocols.
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field (essential); Master’s degree in a related discipline (desirable)
2. Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, AMP).
