Project Manager (Facilities Management Department)
The post holder will play a crucial part in the effective planning, management, and coordination of activities and resources for various projects. He/She will be responsible for creating comprehensive project plans, defining timelines, allocating budgets, and assigning team responsibilities in a way that maximizes productivity.
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS:
- BSc in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent qualifications.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Sound knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques and tools.
- Sound knowledge of engineering contract laws, documents and procedures.
- Knowledge of architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of construction management.
- Knowledge of quantity surveying.
- Knowledge of Jamaica Labour Laws governing construction management
- Five (5) years of working experience as a Project Manager
or related field at a management or supervisory level.
