B. Facey Foundation (theFoundation’) is a family foundation that supports the Group’s corporate social responsibility objectives. The Foundation operates in line with three key areas of focus: Children and Education, Inclusive Arts, and the Lived Environment and is recruiting an energetic team player who will be a member of a small fast-paced team in the Corporate Office to fill the role of:

Project Director

 Duties and Responsibilities of the Role: 

  • Oversee the planning, implementation and post programme reviews of the projects and community service projects for the C. B. Facey Foundation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate leadership, employees, NGO partners, community members and organizations.
  • Effectively prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring responsible allocation of resources to support the Foundation’s projects.
  • Develop and execute a clear and effective strategic plan for the Foundation, aligning goals with the Group’s corporate mission and values.
  • Utilize grant making strategies to assess proposals and manage the grant lifecycle effectively.
  • Lead the development and execution of the corporate social responsibility strategy for volunteer opportunities, ensuring alignment with the Foundation’s mission and the Group’s corporate strategy.
  • Provide support to the Board of Trustees by preparing meeting agendas, board presentations and all supporting materials.

Position Specifications: 

  • Bachelor in Business, Education, Project Management or other Social Sciences.
  • Minimum of 4 years leadership experience in either corporate or NGO environments.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible, versatile and/or tolerant in a changing work environment while maintaining effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Energetic team player with a positive attitude and ability to work on a wide range of projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and maintain deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook and Power Point.
  • Required to travel island wide and should therefore have a reliable motor vehicle and a valid Jamaican Driver’s License.
