The Project Coordinator leads coordinating program activities, managing schedules, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and project agreements to accomplish the strategic goals of the project.

Project Coordinator (1 year contract)

 The Project Coordinator is responsible for the operational, administrative and other related duties to assist in the smooth operation of special projects assigned. The Project Coordinator leads coordinating program activities, managing schedules, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and project agreements to accomplish the strategic goals of the project.

 

Required qualifications

 · Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Project Management or related field

· Minimum 2 years proven experience in program administration or project management preferred

 

Main duties and responsibilities:

 · Supports the planning, scheduling, and execution of project activities, events, and meetings.

· Assist in coordinating and managing project tasks and deliverables.

· Monitor project timelines and ensure that goals and deadlines are met.

· Maintain accurate records, databases, and files related to the project.

· Handle correspondence, documentation, and reports.

· Assist in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and support preparing financial reports.

· Identify cost-saving opportunities and maintain budgetary efficiency.

· Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

· Support the preparation of reports and presentations on project performance metrics.

· Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries.

· Prepare and submit internal and external reports as assigned.

· Monitors special projects as assigned.

 

 

Competencies – knowledge, skills, abilities

 · Excellent computer knowledge/skills to include data management required,

 · Ability to convey information and ideas clearly (verbal and written),

 · Ability to relate effectively with people at all levels (Spanish language skills a plus),

 · Strong calendaring, organizational and document management skills,

 · Ability to work independently and manage time well to achieve high standards in meeting multiple deadlines,

 · Ability to conduct research and prepare presentations or reports as assigned,

 · Ability to show initiative, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes necessary,

 · Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity
