The Programmer Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that fulfill stakeholders' information requirements.

The Programmer Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that fulfill stakeholders' information requirements. Work involves performing data analysis, aiding in the design and evaluation of software applications, and offering programming support for both development and ongoing maintenance activities. Additionally, the Programmer/Analyst is responsible for training users on the relevant systems and applications.

Salary offering: up to $16,000 TTD

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports the development and implementation of software applications, particularly in the analysis and development process and the monitoring of projects.
  • Provides technical support to users either in person or remotely to resolve software application issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
  • Analyzes operational requirements and problems, identifying opportunities for improving the business processes.
  • Obtains requirements from key stakeholders, confirms alignment with defined business objectives, and translates the requirements into technical specifications in accordance with defined standards and practices.
  • Reviews requirements and specifications, develops software tests including test cases and test scripts, and assists with the execution of complete testing of new or modified information systems.
  • Supervises and trains support staff as needed to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of all software applications.
  • Assists with the deployment and adoption of AI in the organization, using training and coaching techniques.
  • across the Microsoft 365 platform.
  • Participates in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support for critical ICT issues and emergencies as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Any other function deemed necessary based on the objectives.
  • Any other duties or special projects based on the objectives of the company.

Qualifications and Experience

  • BSc. in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems Management or Computer Engineering or a related area from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in analysis, design, development and maintenance of software applications
  • A minimum of one (1) years’ experience using Microsoft 365 products and services to enhance productivity, collaboration and communication within the organization.
  • Professional Certification in ICT field would be asset preferably MS SQL DBA
