The Production Supervisor is a critical role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of pre-production and administrative activities within the production plant.

SUMMARY OF JOB: The Production Supervisor is a critical role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of pre-production and administrative activities within the production plant. This position ensures the smooth execution of production schedules, adherence to quality standards, and efficient use of resources. The incumbent will manage the reporting processes, supervise production inputs, administer personnel, and control production activities to maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency. By fostering a collaborative environment, the Production Supervisor will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, drive cost reduction initiatives, and support continuous learning and development within the production team.

The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering or operations management, with significant experience in a supervisory role within the printing or manufacturing industry. Proficiency in production management software and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards are essential for success in this role. • Continuous Improvement: Lead small Kaizen sessions focused on setup reduction, waste elimination, and efficiency improvement using OEE and BI data.
    • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all logs, inspection sheets, and downtime codes are complete and accurate. Support audits and maintain traceability standards.
    • Sustainability: Monitor chemical usage, waste segregation, and recycling activities to align with cost savings initiatives.

    Reporting
