Production Planner

Join our Trinidad HQ as a Production Planner. Consolidate orders, verify raw materials, and create efficient schedules to meet demand. Requires Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in manufacturing planning, ERP skills, and strong analytical ability.

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role is critical in ensuring that finished goods are produced on time, in full, and in compliance with operational standards. The Production Planner will consolidate sales orders, verify raw material availability, and generate production plans that balance efficiency, quality, and customer demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Consolidate local and export orders: Gather sales forecasts, confirmed orders, and stock on hand to determine production requirements.
• Generate production plans: Develop batch numbers and schedules based on SKU priority, raw material availability, and line capacity.
• Create and manage production orders: Input PRDs into AX, update statuses, and ensure all notes and critical data are captured.
• Coordinate with Raw Materials and Purchasing: Issue Gross Requirements Reports (GRR), verify stock, and adjust plans based on shortages or incoming shipments.
• Liaise with Quality Assurance and Maintenance: Ensure sanitation matrices, maintenance schedules, and line maximization are incorporated into the plan.
• Secure approvals: Obtain sign‑offs from VP Manufacturing, QA Manager, Production Manager, and Maintenance Manager before finalizing plans.
• Distribute final production plan: Share approved schedules with all relevant departments to ensure smooth execution.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain within manufacturing.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX or equivalent).
• Strong analytical skills: Ability to interpret forecasts, BOMs, and inventory reports.
• Excellent communication: Skilled at coordinating across departments and presenting clear, audit‑ready documentation.
• Problem‑solving mindset: Capable of redesigning plans quickly in response to shortages or operational changes.
• Attention to detail: Ensures accuracy in scheduling, documentation, and compliance.
