Role & Core Function:

The (Product) Research & Development Officer is responsible for spearheading the product development activities of the company in order to take advantage of existing opportunities in the market place and to create new products which will ultimately satisfy our customers.

• New Product research
• New Product development
• Existing product review and updates/improvement
• Perform Quality Control Checks
• Keeping abreast of market trends

Requirements:

Successful candidate must have:

• BSc degree in food science or related area
• Knowledge of HACCP, ISO & QMS
• Internal audit training & certification
• Valid Food Handlers’ Permit
• Minimum 2 years’ working experience in a similar capacity
• Experience in developing products sustainable in the marketplace

Skillset:

• Good sensory skills
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office
• Detail-Oriented
• Knowledge & application of conversion factors
• Must be a team player
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong planning and organizational skills with analytical mind
