Product Development Officer

Our client is seeking a Product Development Officer to play a key role in designing and improving products, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative products that meet customer and market demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new product ideas and product improvements in line with the Product Development Plan.
  • Research, create, and build prototypes to meet design specifications.
  • Ensure product formulations comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies.
  • Work closely with the Marketing & Business Development Manager to enhance existing products based on customer feedback and production challenges.
  • Plan and execute product testing, sensory evaluations, and stability studies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Manage product development timelines, budgets, and documentation.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including report generation and meeting documentation.
  • Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Chemistry, Chemistry, Pharmacology, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • One (1) to two (2) years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
